Gary Caulfield Passing

It is with great sorrow that we share with you the sad news of Gary Caulfield’s sudden passing on Friday 14th August. Our deepest and most sincere condolences are with Gary’s wife Fiona and son David at this difficult time.

Gary’s contribution to the Australasian Construction Sector over the last sixteen years has been enormous. His tireless drive to reimagine design, procurement and construction always with a view of embracing offsite fabrication, improving safety, increasing productivity and reducing risk was respected and admired by all who had the privilege of working with him.

XLam would not be the organisation it is today without the transformational leadership and energy of Gary. We will always be grateful for the contribution Gary made to our business and the wider Mass Timber Construction cohort.

Gary was a great man and wonderful personality. He will be sorely missed by his immediate family, his XLam family and his wider Construction Sector family.

If you are considering a way to celebrate, recognise or remember Gary the family would like you to consider making a donation to Mates in Construction in his memory.
